Free Them Studios is dedicated to reigniting passion for Christ through the arts, the study of scripture, and an unwavering commitment to well-being. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Content Specialist to help us expand our reach and engagement through digital media and storytelling.

Position Overview

The Content Specialist will be responsible for managing social media, digital content, and overall media strategy to effectively communicate Free Them Studios’ mission, programs, and events. This role is ideal for someone who is creative, passionate about faith-based content, and eager to grow a brand that uplifts and inspires.

This is a part-time volunteer position with the opportunity to become a paid part-time role as the organization grows.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Management

• Develop and execute a social media strategy to increase engagement and awareness.

• Create, schedule, and manage posts across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.

• Monitor social media activity, respond to comments/messages, and engage with the online community.

• Track analytics to measure success and optimize content performance.

Content Creation & Media Management

• Design graphics, videos, and promotional materials for social media, newsletters, and events.

• Capture and edit photos/videos at events, workshops, and classes to showcase Free Them Studios' work.

• Collaborate with leadership to develop storytelling content that highlights the impact of our programs.

Marketing & Outreach

• Assist in writing captivating captions, blog posts, and email newsletters to engage our audience.

• Help promote upcoming events, dance classes, and workshops through digital campaigns.

• Ensure all content aligns with Free Them Studios’ branding and mission.

Collaboration & Growth

• Work closely with the leadership team to develop new creative ideas for outreach and engagement.

• Stay updated on social media trends and faith-based digital marketing strategies.

• Assist in securing collaborations, partnerships, or sponsorships to expand Free Them Studios’ reach.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation is a plus but not required.

• Strong writing and communication skills.

• Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Suite, or other content creation tools (preferred but not required).

• A passion for faith-based storytelling, community-building, and the arts.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
